Large type, and with every step the amounts you need right then. No scrolling back to the ingredient list.
Timers in the step
If a step says “simmer for 20 minutes”, the timer is right there. Each timer is named after its step, so with two running you know which is which.
Servings and measures
Cooking for six instead of four? The recipe scales along, in the steps too. Rather grams and millilitres than cups? Set it once in your preferences; the original is one tap away.
Shopping by aisle
Put one recipe or your whole week on the list. The same ingredient from two recipes ends up on one line, sorted by aisle, and salt, pepper and oil wait under “Usually at home”.
