The short version: use Rypzy for your own food library, do not upload things you have no right to, and understand that we are in closed beta and things can break. The longer version is below.
The service
Rypzy lets you save recipes and food spots from anywhere, find them back, log what you cooked or visited, and share individual items with people you choose.
We are in closed beta. Features change, and the service is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it is available or error-free at any given moment.
Your account
You need an account, you are responsible for what happens under it, and you keep your password to yourself.
One account per person. You must be 16 or older to use Rypzy.
You can delete your account whenever you like — see the privacy page for exactly what happens then.
What you save stays yours
Your photos, notes and recipes remain yours. We do not claim ownership of them and we do not use them to promote anything without asking you first.
To run the service we need permission to store your content and show it back to you — and, when you share an item, to show it to the people you shared it with. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
What you may not do
Upload content you have no right to, or that is unlawful, hateful or abusive.
Republish someone else’s copyrighted recipe or photo as if it were yours. Saving a link for yourself is fine; putting the full text on a public profile is a different thing.
Scrape the service, hammer it automatically, or try to reach other people’s libraries.
Use Rypzy to send other people things they did not ask for.
Links and other websites
When you save a link we read the page to fetch its title, image and recipe details. We do not own that content and are not responsible for what is on those sites.
Where a save came from stays visible, on purpose — the source belongs to the save.
Ending it
You can stop whenever you want by deleting your account.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why first.
Liability
Rypzy is a free closed beta. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, or for lost data. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any consumer right you have that cannot be waived.
Keep your own copy of anything you truly cannot lose.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies. If we cannot resolve something together, it goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence.
